Which Office?

Hi Everyone,

This sounds like a silly question but....if my fiance and I were to marry in Cancun and file the I-601, would it go to the office in Cuidad Juarez? He's in Australia right now and going to Cancun would be a shorter flight travel for me. I don't want to go to Australia on a 20hr flight with my 5 month daughter lol. Imagine the mayhem.

If he is a Mexican Citizen, then yes you will file the I-601 in Juarez. :rockon:

I think your waiver will be adjudicated where you were married.

Laurel: That's what it says in the Foreign Affairs Manual. I haven't tried it yet, but the law is on our side.
