This question is for my aunt and uncle. They are both LPRs and are both wanting to naturalize. They got married back in the early 90s, but divorced in '01, however, they reconciled and they moved in together and they've been living as a "married" couple since then. On the application it says if you are now married to give some info about your spouse. Then it says if you were married before, to provide info about the prior spouse.

They are confused as to what to fill out since they've been divorced to each other, but are now back together, but not legally married.

I know this question is kind of confusing, but if anyone has some insight it would help them out a lot.

Thanks from Arthur and Cata (my aunt and uncle).

Klame I would just answer it truthfully. They aren't married now so don't put anything down for that question and for previous spouse have them put each other. NO biggie. :)

Thanks Pooh. You're right, I just don't know if they take into account common-law marriages. But I guess they don't.

Thanks again :)
