First Strawberry!

We don't really have a full-blown garden, but Mr. G has been tending a strawberry patch and we got our first ripe strawberry today!! It was kind puny, but we shared it. Yummy!! It tasted extra good knowing it had grown up from our bak-yard.:yay2:

oh how exciting i miss ny just for the fresh strawberries down here in cdj and in el paso u cant find them just picked and i love to make homemade strawberry shortcake and homemade strawberry milk and now i am starting to really miss ny lol or atleast the strawberries.

Yeah, when I was in Juarez I really missed them too. I remember looking everwhere for whipping cream. In the end, I had to go to El Paso to get it.
