I'm experimenting with a technique called HDR (High Dynamic Range). Each photo is made up of 5 shots I took with different exposure levels. In other words I use underexposed, normal exposed and overexposed photos and have photoshop put them together to get one shot with the best detail from all 5. It's a great way of taking dramatic landscapes.

I've been messing around with photoshop for about 6 months. You can get a ton of information on the web. Plenty of video tutorials. This is one of my favorites.

yeah pretty expensive though, I downloaded a trial version to re-touch some pictures I kinda messed up, but didn't have enough time to play around , I'll keep saving until I find the money to buy it.
In the meantime I'll check the link, thanks,
hey have to ask you, if you don't mind, what's with the dark clouds, is it a sort of a signature or trade mark on your pics, they are great I was just curious, anyway, thanks for sharing your pics and have fun in chitown

I really, really enjoy your photography posts. Usually I can't view them at work because flickr is obnoxiously banned under, of all things: social networking, but I always make myself a note to look at your posts when I get home.
Thanks for sharing!
