Here is a link that I found while doing some advocacy research today. I signed this petition to be delivered to Congress and the President on December 1, 2008. Please take a moment to view it and sign it if you believe it will help make a change. I sure do plan to do all I can.

signed... I hate to be negative, but immigration reform sounds gret in theory, but in the times we live in now, I don't think there will be any type of reform in my lifetime. BUT, here is to hoping!!

Reform will not happen with McCain! His conservative base will hang him out to dry.

I'm the biggest downer of all. I don't think either candidate is going to do jack SQUAT about immigration. McCain has some legacy and constituency issues to worry about and Obama I don't believe fully understands the issue and certainly has no concrete plan for reform. I'm still voting for Obama based on all his other characteristics. And I'm still signing the petition!! I'm just a pessimist. Ugh. I'm horrible. Sorry. :(

Funny I just posted a thread for the same thing. Im new to the site and still trying to get caught up on old items. Glad to see it was already on here.

just wanted to say hi, this is me (the travelling was hard - blog )here and i did put that in a different thread... but turns out it was already here. huh. just got burried. well it is good to see it come to the top.
