Spirit is advertising sales to Honduras from Ft. Lauderdale, FL June 4, 6, 10, & 12 (I think those are right) starting at $29 each way. I searched through Sidestep and they were out of the $29 fares, but I found one for $200 round trip-- pretty good, right? I can't do it because I would also have to pay for a flight from Kansas City to Fort Lauderdale, plus I have to ask off for work in advance. I hate it that I live in the Midwest sometimes... the tickets to Honduras are SO EXPENSIVE!!!

Anyway... I thought some of you ladies might want to know in case you are in the position to go!

Well, I will probably have to give around a months notice at the least. I told my boss about Isai and the appointment I will have to go to at the US Embassy in Honduras. I told her I would probably not have much notice, and she said they would work it out when I had to go and get me covered.

I was saving money for my ticket, but I just got my cell phone bill today, and it was $612!!!! I could just cry... there went my economic stimulus check. I hope I don't have to hold off on my I-130 process so that I can save more $$ for a plane ticket. I think I will be OK though, because I have been working a lot of overtime lately, and I have a couple more shifts coming up next month. I have been brainstorming about ways to make some more money, and I'm going to have a couple garage sales this summer. I was also thinking about doing a concert/recital type thing at my church... it will be free to come, but they would take an offering for donations at the end. I dunno.... maybe people wouldn't want to donate because a lot of them know my husband is a criminal. I will keep praying about it.

I'm sure a lot of people will donate.. if they know you and they know your beautiful daughter no one would say no reuniting a child with her father.
