I didnt have to file for this did I? My husband is already in The US, I been reading about thsi got a little bit confused after reading about getting your visa? our appointment is September 5th, we already got the 1-130 approved. Tahts just to bring a finace before they get married to the US right?

If so am is my husband getting the k-3 visa?

Yup, the I-129F is for fiances. Also some spouses use it to speed the process along to get an interview in CDJ faster.

you're actually better off since you already have the appt. no messy aos paperwork once you're approved.

Just like everyone said you are fine. The reason married couples file the I-129F is to get an interview in CDJ faster. For example I filed my I-130 in July. We are going to send in the I-129F this week. If we stick with the i-130 then our interview will not be until Dec 08 or Jan 09. If we do the I-129F with the I-130 i can expect an interview 3 - 4 months after the I-129f approval Mar or Apr 08.
