Progress - what's next?

This is probably a repeat question - sorry.

Our I129F and I130 Petitions just got approved (we received NOA2 on May 14).

Do we get to pick to go with I129F or I130? Do they both get processed at the same time?

How long should we expect until we get an interview?

Hey you might get to pick since it seems like I'm going to be able to persue both and pick.. I think you could expect an appointment somewhere from September- December depending on which method you go with - K3 or CR1

Cool. I was reading your signature. Will you explain in more detail how you got to pick which one to pursued. Is K3 a non-immigrant and CR1 immigrant visa - I get confused?

hehe I wish I knew!! I'm just kinda doing what they send me.. I still don't know for sure if I'm going to get to pick which interview I get... I wasn't expecting to get the I-130 paperwork but they sent it to me - basically when you check the status of your case - check BOTH I was only checking on the I-129f cuz I thought my I-130 would be "dead" .. but now I'[m trying to go with the I-130 if they let me continue

And yeah K3 is non-immigrant and I-130 is CR1 immigrant visa..
I was trying to explain that to hubby the other night and he was like "after all that and I still wouldn't be considered an immigrant?" lol!

I call and checked both the automated system and the operators..

Alice - the number for the National Visa Center is 603-334-0700.

You can either follow the promtps and talk to an operator or follow them to get info from the automated system.
