Hello Coronaf!!!
You said that yur appeal is in CDJ since sept 2006, right? O you meant the you file a Motion to re-open/re-consider MTR with CDJ since sept and still waiting for response?
An appeal goes directly to AAU and doesnot stay in CDJ. If you appeal you need to contac the appeal office at: 202 272 1212, at least that's the number I had called when my appeal was pending. You can leave a message or try to call back and talk to a represntative. They will let you know if they have your appeal and how long you have to wait. BUT if you sent a MTR you might need to call CDJ and inquire about it.
God Bless you

We were denied, last time I checked the 202 number the appeal process was taking about 16 months.
If your appeal was just received from Juarez after sitting there for 12 months I would go ahead and contact possibly your congress person to ensure that they get it put into the queue at the appropriate time. They can't help you with decisions but administrative issues are their specialty.

hope this helps :)

Why was your waiver denied? What was the reason you needed a waiver, overstay only? Have you heard of the pilot program that is now at CDJ?
You may be better off contacting the embassy and asking for a new appointment to submit a new waiver with better evidence and revised letter rather than waiting on the review of the appeal. Do you have a lawyer?

Hi, I know how difficult this is as I am going through the same thing. I had filed my appeal in December of 2005 and I just got the decision today so that is about 1 year 9 months. Unfortunately, you will still have a little time left to go. Mine was denied, but I am not giving up.
Good luck and God bless.

Dear coronaF: I'm a new member to this forum. I'm new to this immigration stuff. Well I'm going through the same situation my honey waiver I-160 was denied and recently in december I sent my appeal. Now I got a lawyer and he is helping me out. He has been in Mexico for about 1year and four months. Now I'm so happy due to my pregnancy but in the same time sad due to my husband not being here and I know he will like to be in the process of my pregnacy but what can we do. Lets wait be patient. Lets pray to God and have a good communication, trust, and love for our husbands.

Mrs. Guz I was just reading your post. I to like Cornaf filed an appeal. I should have never done it. It takes 18-20 months..I withdrew it because I had requested a new appt. and got it, as you will read we were approved. I kept calling the AAO and told them withdraw it, then I sent them a certified letter, and also faxed it too. But then again, you can request a new interview via mail for a new interview. read some of the posts and you will find the address. I requested my Via email back in Jan 07, and June 07 and finally Sept o7 and got a positive response. you will get an appt. in 4-6 months..but it came Oct 16, 2007. Our appt. Dec 27th, and Infopass Jan 3rd 2008 and we got approved...my husband was gone almost 2 years. We had our first appt. Jan 06, and he stayed in Mx. But I went to see him..he was not far from south texas where I live..good luck.. and if you need anything more..let me know...or PM me...

Mrs. Guz - listen to Christy - try to get a new appointment in CDJ. There are a few people who have done this on this forum and a number who are in the process right now.
