For those with spouses who had a "catch and release", how did you answer Q32 on the D-230 that asks "Have you ever been refused admission to the US at a port-of-entry?" ... My husband was caught at the border (what we hope was just a catch & release and not an actual deportation) - forgive me if this is a stupid question - but do we say yes or no?

All4love - good question. I have seen it answered both ways.
Our lawyer - aware that my husband has catch and releases in the past answered no for that particular question
however ...
I have seen Laurel indicate that one should put yes in one or two of her chat sessions.
Its tricky though - because you could see 'port of entry' as the key words, in which case the answer would be no for a catch and release - but if you just go off of the 'refusal of admission' then it would be yes ...
I am sorry I was not more help - but I hope others chime in with their opinions.
