Birth certificate translations do not have to be notarized - but the person translating must indicate that they are fluent in both languages. Are you?
There are no standard questions and answers for the first interview. They will ask him about his entry, your marriage, etc. and he is required by law to answer truthfully.

I am not there yet but I beleive he qualifies for the waiver. Do you have your waiver ready? Have you setup your appt? There are several threads you can read in this forum where people talk about their first interview. Good Luck and welcome!

Welcome to the forum.
Have you made an appointment for your I-601 waiver yet? If he was here illegally all that time he will not get his visa on the 20th, he will have to file an I-601 waiver. In order to do that, you will need to make another appointment (by phone). Right now they are making those appts in July, unless you get lucky and get a cancellation.
At the waiver appointment you will have to submit a packet that proves that you will suffer extreme hardship were your husband barred from the U.S. for ten years.
Please ask questions. There is tons of info on this site to help you.
