The NVC told me (and I received their letter) that they sent our approved I-129F to Juarez on April 21st. I'm a teacher, and I just read on here that someone got a waiver appointment for July 30. We need an appointment for no later than the second week of August, otherwise I can't go with him because of work.
I would really like to make the waiver appointment, but would like to actually have the invitation letter in hand.
Should I just forget the letter, and try to go a day early to get a copy from the information window?
The I-129F validity time will expire before we can go. Has anyone had issues with this at the consulate? With them taking so long to mail out this fiancé packet, and the waiver appointments getting farther and farther out, it's impossible to make it work in time.
Is there a general information number I can call on Monday to see if the consulate even got our petition from the NVC?
Thanks!
