:bleh:
So my mom has asked me to help my Dad become a US Citizen! Here's his details. He's been an LPR for 28 years and he's 65 years old. I don't know if you remember but he has Parkinson's Disease and diabetic so she would like to know about getting him the medical exemption (N-648) from the test and interview.
His Parkinson's doesn't allow him to write well and has an extremely hard time explaining himself that under pressure he'll start to cry. :( He has trouble remembering and his temors tend to get worse under stressful situations. Therefore we believe its in his best interest (and for his sanity) to try to get him exempt from it. So trying to get him to study for the test is going to put him over the edge.
So why do it? Well he worries that do to increasing pressures from immigration that he just needs to become a citizen. Any pointers would be great thanks.
