Do they go by the day that you submitted the waiver or the day it entered the DHS i am just getting a liitle confused because i know that they are working on September but there are people still waiting from this time last year. I want to submitt additional information to make my HSL stronger just to be on the safe side. I am going to submit dr.'s letter from my fathers surgeon from his recent amputation. I think that the first and second HSL that i sent were very strong with a level 4 hardship. I am just waiting to hear an answer real soon so that i can go get my hubby and be happy again!!!!

They go by when DHS receives it. Also even though there was a September one really doesn't mean thats what they are working on. They kinda go backwards too. You can submit more evidence all the way up until the approval. Good luck.

uggghh there is no logic as to the timeliness with which that they process stuff...it's unfair.

Gosh, it's so hard to keep up w/ DHS 'cause I don't even think THEY know how the process is going

Ditto! To both of you. Just like if you research it, they were only taking 8 months. Well needless to say you should add about 4-5 months on to that.
