19- LIST NAMES,DATES AND PLACES OF BIRHT, AND ADDRESSES OF ALL CHILDREN. (I HAVE TWO CHILDREN BORNED IN USA, DO I HAVE TO LIST THEM,THEY LIVE WITH ME AND MY HUSBAND)

I listed our son even though he is a USC and born here. I like it also asks where they were born.

21 PERSON (s) NAMED EN 14,19 WHO WILL FOLLOW NOW (????)

This would if you had other people apply for visas also. I put N/A

IN WHAT OCCUPATION DO YOU INTED TO WOR IN THE U.S? I'M A HOUSEWIFE SHOULD I WRITE N/A OR WHAT???? YES A PLANNING TO WORK BUT I STILL DON'T KNOW ON WHAT??

I just put something general. For my husband I put a laborer

25. LIST ALL PREVIOUS VISITS TO OR RESIDENCE IN THE UNITED STATES (I HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT I HAVE TO WRITE?????? I EWI

I actually left this blank. After I send it I thought that I would get and RFE on another part so I redoing it and I was stuck on this question. However, I did not get an RFE by leaving it blank. But I wouldn't suggest leaving it blank. I would put the date you entered EWI and then probably put something like same as question #25

30. I EWI ON 1996 SINCE THEN I'VE BEEN LIVING IN USA SHOULD I CHECK BOX YES OR NO I'M CONFUSED ABOUT THAT ONE

I answered no

32. EVER BEEN REFUSED TO THE UNITED STATES AT A PORT OF ENTRY (I DIDN'T SEE OR TALK TO AN IMMIGRANT OFFICER.) SO YES OR NO I THINK NO

I put a catch and release

DO NOT WRITE BELOW THE FOLLOWING LINE: SHOULD I SEND IT SIGNED OR NOT, IT STATES THAT A CONSULAR OFFICER WILL ASSIST IN ANSWERING QUESTION 35 I KNOW I AM A FAMILY-SPONSORED IMIGRANT BUT SHOULD I LIVE IT ON BLANK OR WHAT????

send part you do not sign

Also don't forget to write in present on dates of residency or employment

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!!!!!

This is what I put

hi yoyi...
i put no on question 31 because my hubby came in thru the dessert and he was never 'refused" at a port of entry....i think if you were caught and release then you would definitly put yes...

as for the employment just put "unknown"

I pretty much agree with amber.....

also dont forget to put yes on the really long question that talks about being illegally present in the states....

I am sorry, but I am looking at my DS-230 form and I don't see this question about being unlawfully present in the US for over a perod of time. Will someone direct me please?

You are correct. 30(h) should be answered "yes" because of illegally being here for more than one year. I am glad you are reading the questions very carefully.

Even though the other sections of this question did not apply to us and only the EWI did, I wrote a separate paragraph and added it stating the fact that we are only answering this question "Yes, because of . . . . ."

yes
30 H is yes...thats why you will be denied the visa and have to make a waiver appt. I would also put no at the poe question because you were never technically refused......

Djones: you give me a good idea i'll attached a paragraph stating the reason why i checked yes....

monki12: i think it makes sense because like you said technically i wasn't refused i'll put NO (wish me luck on that one lol)
