hello everyone,
i just want to know what's the next step after I-130 is approved... i, a US citizen, filed the petition for my mom who is in the philippines on march 3 2008 at vermont service center... it was approved on may 10 and the petition was sent to nvc... it was entered and assigned an nvc number may 13... what's the next step after this?... when i called nvc's automated service, it states allow 6-8 weeks for nvc to contact the benificiary for further immigrant visa processing... at what point in the process should i pass the affidavit of support?
