Went to Social Security office today

Hubby and I went to the Social Security office today to apply for his card and the lady told us that the visa he received will automatically generate a social security number and we should receive it in 2-3 weeks. Call me a Ding Dong but I did not know that we did :blush:

Yes, somewhere in one of the forms it asks if you want to get the ssn once your waiver is approved and the passport has the stamp.
