My I-601 has just been approved and I'll be entering the US using a K-3 visa. What will I do next? Can I work right away since I have a social security number or do I need to apply for a work permit? Please let me know what steps to do after I enter the US. I need to get a job ASAP because I need to help my hubbie with all the finances. We are in debt (lawyer, fees, etc.). I just don't want my husband to be burdened with everything. Are there any filing fees again? Do I need to adjust my status? I'm clueless. Thank you. I appreciate any information you can contribute.
