If my husband is already in the US what address do I put when it asks for add abroad? And this is a really dumb question to but I really need this to be perfect when it asks for family name is that the name that I took from him when we got married ??? or is that my maiden name and he has told me he does not have a middle name like I do he has two last names but he says his last name is Ayala but I took camargo?? What do I put down on the i-130? What he says ?? but that will look weird when he has a different last name than either of my names? and I also read something on the yahoo answer site that you should submit the I-485 (I think it is called) along with your I-130 is that true or has anyone else done that as well ??? I was just going to submit the I-130 and wait until they asked for the rest??? Please help with these questions I know some are dumb but I rather ask a dumb question here than trying to explain something else on the form lol I think that is the only question I had for now Im sure I will come up with more soon

ness - welcome.

I believe family name is your maiden name.

Don't worry about the two last names. My husband has two also (though he has a 'middle name' so he really has four names - I took the second of his last names - not both and we did not have any problems with difference in names. Just be sure to list both (for him) on the forms - as it is stated on his birth certificate.

As for the I-485 - how did your husband enter the US - with a visa of some sort or without inspection? Are you eligible to adjust status? If he entered without inspection - you can not adjust in the US - therefore filing the I-485 is not an option for you guys. He will need to have an interview in his home country in order to receive his visa.
