mi brother-in-law would like to come to the u.s. the right way. he would like to work, but is ok with just visiting and then going home to make his decision on whether he would like to live in the u.s. how would i go about helping him?

He would have to have a sponsor to immigrate to the U.S. and work. There are a number of visa's out there he may or may not qualify for, all will take YEARS on waiting lists before he is able to come unless he is some type of nuclear scientist or Rock Star or something, then there is always a visa available. Or he is married to a U.S. citizen then he could come within a year or so.

A B class visa is a is a Non-immigrant visa or more commonly called a tourist visa, other than the fee's for applying, you have to show the consulate that you do not have immigrant intent. If they decide your Bother-in-law has immigrant intent, then he will be denied the B class visa.
