Hi All,

I'm finding it difficult to make travel arrangments for my fiance. He is in Australia and is banned from the U.S. because of an overstay. We're trying to fly to Cancun to get married there. The problem is that the flights require stop overs in the U.S. since the distance is so long. Would anyone happen to know if there is a way to fly without having to stop in the U.S.?

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

We did this as we lived in Asia for a while:

You can fly on Martinair straight to/ from Amsterdam to Cancun or vice versa.

There is also a direct flight on British Airways from London to Mexico City and then you can connect to Cancun on one of the Mexican carriers.

I recommend the latter because it's cheaper and a MUCH nicer flight/ carrier, etc.....

Good luck & congrats!

You can go Australia- Amsterdam-Cancun . I agree that Martin Air is flying there.

Also what you can do is manually overwrite a system. When you gong to the booking site pick an option “multiple stops” and instead of putting Sidney-Cancun, you can put “Sidney - Amsterdam, Amsterdam-Cancun”. Just pick a right dates. If you would provide cities where you flying from and where you going in Mexico and dates, I can try to help you do the search ( I do that for my boss all the time at work).

Congratulations on your wedding.
