Okay, I know I'm being really impatient, but my check was just cashed and I can't seem to read the fourth character in the receipt number. I have put in every number 0-9 and nothing works. Is there a chance that it is too early to find it in their system yet??? Or, is it because it is a letter? The first three characters are EAC then the blurry thing:)
LOL again, forgive me for being so neurotic. I hope you all understand:)
Thanks again:)

I think the EAC should be WAC for California...
Also, yes, it might be too early.

Rinner - I think we all here are impatient with immigration, but we have to change that (still working on it lol). They cashed out my checked the same day I received my NOA1, so pls double check your mailbox because you should receive yours very soon!!!!

It took us 2 months before it was even online. Dont' worry about it for now.

I did the same thing - tried so hard to figure out the numbers, wondered about one character, but had a pretty good guess, and nothing worked online.
It wasn't until I got my NOA1 that my case showed up in the system. And the number I was trying all along was right, it was just too early. I know it's pretty impossible, but try to be patient for the NOA1! :)

she should be EAC, not WAC, because she's on the east coast and her case will go to vermont. i mailed mine in august and couldn't check online till feb (2 months after NOA1), so be patient!

Okay, I think I understand now. It just seemed like it was always a big thing for people to check the back of their check for the number...LOL So, I thought it was important that I did too..
Thanks for the responses! I'll try to cool it for the next....year...or maybe longer.
