questions on I 601 form help please....

Hi everyone,

I need help on what to put on two of the questions on my 601 form. It is #10 and 11. On #10 should I just put that my husband EWI and that he stayed in the country for 8 years? He filed for asylum and at one point he was not illegal the whole time. And on #11 should I just put the cities and the dates only or should I put that he had a pending asylum case during that period? Please help me with this, we have out visa appt on June 3 and I have to have this ready by then.

hi latinlaw, the problem is that when u apply for asylum and not approved on first appt and then refer to a judge u r under deportation procedings. he went back to being illigal then and he is always being EWI, when did his last employment authorization expire or cancel? i am kind of on in the same situation my family apply for political asylum all of them got approeved but me was very sick for one hearing and could not make and deported in absentia. appeal and denied on deportation order since 96
