Hello,

How is everyone doing? I have a quick question. My sister in Law who is 17years in High School and wants to go to college, can't because of her illegal status. She enter the U.S. when she was only a baby legal with a Visitor's Visa. And now she is here illegal. Is there anything I can do to help her? My husband is also illegal :-( . Thanks for all your help.

I love everyone in here that take the time to answer all the questions. And God Bless all the ladies who move to other countries to support and be with their loved ones. I would do the same thing for mine!

lolita,
she should try to find out if they accept illegal immigrants at the college that she wants to study. There are some colleges in Texas and in California that accept illegal immigrants. Also they are trying to approve the dream act in California. try to find colleges that will accept her. unfortunately, colleges and universities are limited but there are some.

I agree with aleful, have her do some research, so colleges will accept her. Best of luck.

She really has no way to fix her status save marrying a U.S. citizen. It's probably best to look for a school where she can be admitted without proving her status.
