I 130 vs I 129F

My wife currently has both approved. On the I 129F it has a time frame which it is valid. Does that mean our visa appointment will be scheduled within that time frame. Which is better. I 129F or I 130, Regardless we are going to have to file for the I 601 wavier. I have been told both ways has its goods and bads. ANy suggestions from you guys. Thanks for the help.

Well for what i know, I129 is faster, in the way that your wife will be legal if approved. I130 once approved (@cdj) your done. and your looking at a 4-6 month difference!.

ALso, with the 129 you will still need to go through the AOS process when back in the US, meaning more fees and immigration woes.

i posted this before, and angela can back me up here--they're more than likely not going to give you a choice and you, like her, will basically be forced to go with the i-129f. she can speak to this much more than i can.
