does any one know how much faster is the 129f compare to 130. i am thinking on going that route also in case i have to leave before my interview in peru. i havent start the file yet. have deportation ordern since 96 so anything can happen. so i guess the faster i can get the interview the better. thanks.

It would make the wait on getting an interview shorter by maybe 2 months, but it is a hassle once back in the US. You may want to stick with the I-130 alone just to ease the headache you will have after you get back to the US>

AND, once again, if you are filing through vermont, they are cancelling all i-129fs according to all evidence we have seen (i actually have a letter from when they cancelled my i-129f and i called about it). it's only worth it if you will be at california.

I filed the i-129f in california and it was canceled. I filed it because it didn't cost any more money at the time I was told it would have an interview in a year instead of 2 with the just the i-130. Even if the i-129f was approved, I think it would have only speed up the interview 4 months, but then I still would have had done the AOS. So in the long run, the i-129f was canceled.
