I sent this letter to Senator Jeff Sessions to see if he will help to get my husband's waiver finished. Athens sent off his A-numbers to Washington to get his files. That was five months ago. Anyway, here is my e-mail I sent. What do you think? I kind of layed it on thick, but I just want to go home with my husband in tow. Five years is long enough dammet!!:curse:

To The Honorable Mr. Jeff Sessions:
I am writing in regards to my husband's I-601 waiver that I filed on behalf of my husband in January of 2007. Athens Greece received the waiver on April 3,2007. They are currently processing the waiver. They requested to have his files sent to them from America under his A-number. MY HUSBAND HAS THREE A-NUMBERS!!! The problem that I am currently facing is that this request is taking almost five months!!! It shouldn't take that long for Washington to send Athens my husband's files. Please, Mr. Sessions, contact Washington and find out why it is taking so long for them to send Athens the files. My husband has been out of the United States for five years now. I haven't seen my husband but only two times in the last five years. Our two children, ages 9 and 5, haven't seen their father since 2005. My husband has missed five of his son's birthdays. He has missed all five of his daughter's birthdays. Our daughter doesn't even know her own father. Just the two visits and phone calls and pictures are all she recognizes of her father. I have misses five anniversaries with my loving husband. Our ten year anniversary is coming up soon, and I will be spending it alone. Please, Mr, Sessions, from the bottom of my heart, I am begging you to please call Washington and ask them to send the files to Athens immediately so that our family can be reunited once again. Don't make my husband miss another one of his children's birthdays or another one of our anniversaries. Please help us. Please support family unity and help to reunite us together again. Thank you for your time and patience. May you have a blessed day.

Sincerely,

Mrs. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

An email will go unanswered for months (and if you do ever get a response, it will be a form letter).

The way to contact an elected official is to go to their website and download the online privacy form. Fill it out and fax it it with simple, straightforward and brief request for assistance. Without this form, they cannot check into your case.

I called my local congressman's office and then per her request emailed her some information she requested along with a little more information regarding our case.

Emails wont tell you anything. If you call them, they can tell you if they can help you or not and how to go from there.

Best of Luck to you!

Kerri
