I really appreciate all the help, because we do not have money for a lawyer.
My husband made the request for my teenage son, who had a legal problem 3 years ago. He did not have criminal records, but it said the problem for wanting to be honest at the interview in CJS, but they denied a visa and we need to ask for a waiver.
As I discuss this matter in the letter to conduct my husband, and what documents could help?
Thanks again.

Welcome.
Can you explain a little more. Your husband is a citizen, right? And he filed as the stepfather?
What was the legal issue? We really need to know, because your waiver probably needs to focus on his rehabilitation.
How old is your son? Has he ever been to the U.S.?

Thanks for answer.
My husband born in Boston and he filed like stepfather. My son had a neurological problem that we didn't knew until 1 year ago. Before (when he didn't take medicine), had troubles about to think in the consecuencies. He had never been in US.

We need to know exactly what crimes he was charged with- that can make the difference when applying for a waiver. Some crimes are waiveable- some are not- and some are techincally waiveable but very hard to actually get approved.
When you said CJS, did you mean CDJ? What country is your son in?
How old is he now? How old was he when he had his criminal incident?
