NON MARRIAGE BASED AOS (Mother-Child)

Hello everyone, only few people seemed to post about non marriage based AOS, so maybe by posting this, ;) more people would like to share their timeline... to compare, to read, and to have some sort of relief to whatever it maybe.

Case: Mother a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR), Beneficiares (me and 2 other sisters) were petitioned before the age 21. I was 17 then when the I-130 was approved, (year 1997)...- thus under category F2A...
Since Im from a country that goes by priority date and limitation of visa issuance... My priority date just became current- May 2008...
Imagine! 11 years... Such test of patience...I just say and always believed there is always a reason for everything..
Okay before I bore everyone with my case... :D
SO>>>> I entered the US w/ a tourist visa (B1/B2), maintained an H status (6th yr now), and just filed my AOS... FINALLY!!!

TIMELINE:
4/30/08 - Sent via FEDEX (priority overnight)- I-485, I-765, and I-130 (Check for $1010.00)
5/01/08 - Package rcvd and signed for by Chyba
5/08/08 - Check deposited
5/09/08 - Check cleared the bank
5/09/08 - Received I-797C Notice of action for EACH form

okay, now have to wait for my Biometrics appt... :waiting:

And the waiting begins again.. waited 11 yrs, might as well..... :cool:

Btw, by the time my date became current, my category fell to F2B... thats why my wait was forever!!!
