View Full Version : Have not seen a receipt yet...

We sent our paperwork to the Chicago Lockbox on 7/24. They received it on 7/26. Our checks were cashed on 8/13 (although the information on the back says they deposited them on 8/10).

We still have not received an the receipt in the mail... should we be worried???

I would give it another week or 2, I beleive there is a backlog, as lots of people were filing to beat the fee increase, I wouldn't be surprised if you receive something in the mail by the end of next week.

branquinha, we also sent ours in on 7-24, our checks cleared on the 15th and this past weekend we received a letter for his biometric appointment. Maybe you'll get your appointment letter this week sometime!

I'm about 4 days behind you (Lockbox received our case on 7/30) - I don't expect our checks to be cashed until this week at the earliest.

Also a lot of people are receiving their biometrics appointments without ever receiving NOA1. Wouldn't surprise me if you're in that camp.

My husband just received his appt letter today too!!! Thank God!!!
His appt is for 9/5!!! He is thrilled!

kennah, where are you going for your bio?
TracyTN - Yeah... our packet was received there on 7/26...and our checks were cashed on 8/13, so yours is probably delayed a bit due to the high influx of apps they received...

But we hope that the fact they are sending these biometrics before the NOA1means faster processing for us!!!

I hope that's what it means, too!! :)

I'm not worried yet - I know we're a bit behind you, and that there was quite the influx of applications.
