I called Bangkok embassy this week. Got the number from their website. They confirmed they have it and it's pending and they are running 6-8 months behind.

So we should just call the embassy ? For example , our waiver will go thru Lima, so we would call Lima' US Embassy ?
For some reason I thought it was another dept, building that had the waivers (DHS or USCIS)

I am going through Honduras and on their website they have a number to DHS. That is the number that I call for my husbands waiver! (The number is based out of Honduras not the US)! Good Luck!!

I meant to say Bangkok USCIS (there is an embassy there, don't know if it is USCIS is a department within it or a separate building). I looked up Bangkok USCIS on-line and called the number and asked to check the status of the I-601. So you want to contact Lima because that is where you filed the waiver. Google "Lima USCIC" and you get a a page that has a phone number, e-mail and other contact information.
