April 19, 2005 - First appointment with lawyer Filed I-130
May 11, 2005 - Receipt Notice of I-130
June 2005 - lawyer obtained husband's FBI record
October 31, 2005 - I-130 approved
November 28, 2005 - Received letter for Affidavit of Support Fee Bill and Immigrant Visa Fee Bill
January 2006 - Paid Affidavit of Support Fee Bill and Immigrant Visa Fee Bill
Feruary 2006 - filed Affidavit of Support and DS-230 Part 1
April 13, 2006 - case forwarded to Juarez
March 15, 2007 - received appointment letter
April 23, 2007 - me, husband and daughter left Wisconsin for Oaxaca, Mexico
April 29, 2007 - husband and I arrived in Juarez
April 30, 2007 - medical exam, husband was sent to psychiatrist because of arrest on his record
May 2, 2007 - first appointment, was told to come back next morning
May 3, 2007 - husband was told he was "missing" some court documents that they had actually taken out of our folder the day before
Luckily our lawyer was able to obtain another set of copies of these documents.
Had to reschedule our Infopass appointment twice while waiting for these documents!
May 21, 2007 - open appointment to turn in the documents - eligible to submit waiver
May 24, 2007 - Infopass appointment - APPROVED!!! went to the border to have passport stamped
May 25, 2007 - Back to Oaxaca - Adios Juarez!
Received card end of June 2007
July 16, 2007 - the three of us returned to Wisconsin
Applied for social security card July 27, 2007 and received the week after
