Q13. They say that I was arrested but I can’t remember. How do I find out about my arrest record?
To review your state arrest record you must request it in person at any Motor Vehicle Administration office [http://www.mva.state.md.us/] or the CJIS location at 6776 Reisterstown Road, 2nd Floor, Suite 205, Baltimore, Maryland 21215. http://www.mapquest.com/.

To request a review of your Federal arrest records contact the FBI Liaison Office at (304) 625-5590.

so THAT'S the difference between a police certificate and an arrest record! it took me literally a good 4-5 hours of googling spread out over 2 days to find this!!!

No. Motor vehicle charges are not part of your criminal record.

his arrest was not for DWI, it was driving w/o license, but the answer to this question clears up a LOT.

So a DWI doesn't show up on the FBI criminal checks???

yes, a DUI showed up on my hubbies FBI fingerprint checks.

this was a maryland state thing...that might not apply to FBI checks with it not being on your record. i think it meant it's not on your maryland state criminal record...plus doesn't a fingerprint check bring up every time you've ever been printed?

No it does not, my husband had a DUI from back in 2001 and when we got his fingerprints back from the FBI, it WAS NOT on the FBI record, just the local!

I do not know if this will answer your question but on my husbands FBI record it only shows when he was picked up by border patrol in 1988 and an arrest in 1992 (that was expunged) and then his recent arrest in 2006 by ICE. But along with that they sent everything he was ever fingerprinted for.
