I cant believe it! How could this have happened!

Tears are running down my face while I am writing this I am so mad!!! So me and my husband did the ammended taxes back in march the 04,05,06 and did our 2007 taxes too. Well they told us that the ammended would take 6 to 12 weeks to get here. So I knew they should be coming at the end of this month or next month. So I called the IRS last night since online it would say error. And they told me that they never received none of the ammended and that now since it passed and they only give you certain time which we did to at the right time! he wont be able to get the 2004 that was the one we were going to get more money 1,632 and the others 888 and 1,119 so then also we wont be getting them till another 3 months but only 2 not three GRRRRRR!!!!!
We had already bought stuff planned a trip to mexico for tomorrow and used credit cards thinking we were getting our money soon!

So I am thinking the person who prepared out taxes never send them or sended them electronically and your not suppose to send it electronically only mail them thats what the IRS woman told me yesterday!

Please I just needed to let this out I am so dissapointed hope fully someone can make me feel better! TEAR:cry:

When we did ours they took more than 4 months but we got everything back. So sorry to hear this.

do you have copies from the tax person they should have a date on them, i wonder if you call again and tell them you have copies, maybe they somehow misplaced them or they never go put in right, like any other offical place you may get a person who will be able to help you better, plus call the place where they did your taxes and tell them whats up.

Yeah thats the only place that can help me now the place wehere we did them tey are not answering maybe they open late. I do have the copies and everything but the IRS lady who I talked to said that it wasnt their fault about that so that I have to talk to te preparer! So ill keep trying to call them and keep yall posted!

Keep persisting with the tax preparer and hopefully everthing will work out.

The good thing is that they are honoring 2 out of 3 so far.

Wow, it sounds like you had a very bad tax person. I did ours for the past three years also, and went to several different tax people and no one could give me a straight answer so I just researched and did them myself. I called on them last week, which would make it right at 10 weeks and they are in the system but no checks yet! Ughh!

I hope you get it worked out soon, but you will have to send it to them via snail mail.

I'm so sorry. There has got to be something you can do. what about the person who did your taxes? Someone,somewhere made a mistake. You need to calm down and not take no for an answer. Don't give up. Then after you have tried everything. just Breathe and know you will get passed this.In the meantime, you have every right to be mad.

Right now I am in the middle of a law suit and I am being sued for 45,000 dollars. I decided that whatever happens, We will be fine. And so will you.

Oh I'm so sorry Erica. Def keep calling the tax preparer and get some answers. I would ask for a fee refund if they did something wrong. :(

Definally call the person that prepared them and find out what happened, and I would ask them for the money that I paid back, since they opbviously did not do their job.

Thanks for all your support its weird but all yalls(im from texas) words make me feel better I contacted the tax person finally and she said they will only have it in the system 6 weeks after we send it in so I said ok then i noticed its been 8 weeks and called her back and told her taht she then now told me it can take 12 weeks and she said she did mail them! She told me to call in 12 weeks and ask GRRR! and they should already by then know when we should be getting the check! I feel better but im afraid they didnt get them an then we wont do them till 6 bweeks from n ow and lost even more time! Yeah I think ill just enjoy mexico and forget about this! Thanks!

Those amounts will NOT be the correct amount they send you ok you will get interest on all the back years filed I was FLORRED when I found out and happy all in one. So if you don't get one of the years, yea that sucks but they will give you interest on the rest! Good luck!

So finally we got everything settled Thought I should let yall know, I called a couple of times and every single time they tell me something different. But, finally I called again yesterday and they told me I was getting my 2004 ammended taxes with some interest YEY!!! And also my 2006 with some interest! But my 2005 was closed the lady I talked to didnt know why so she said that I had to give them time to see if they reopen it! But anyways im so happy were getting some! The 2004 ammended taxes should be coming out on the 20th, and I got a letter for the stimulus and that will also come out on the 20th :yay: Well im glad everything came out fine and yall were here that day that I felt miserable im sure your thoughs and wishes helped! :thumbup:
