Change of address with pending application.

Ok, from what I understand, I can use the USCIS Online Change of Address Tool to change my address with USCIS as well as for the pending application. Is that correct?

If so, I have questions.

For the question, I am in the U.S. as a:
Do I put other, and if so, what do I put in the box for other?

For the question A#, do I put the EAC receipt# from the NOA1?

For the question, Port of entry into the U.S., do I just put the city closes to where he EWI'd?


Is this the only form I need to fill out for change of address on the pending petition and with USCIS?
Would it be easier for me to call this information in?

I would do it online- as best you can- because you can always print out your confirmation (I thinkit's an AR-11.) If there are questions like about POE, you can always put "N/A". We did before our AOS interview, The interviewer didn't like it, but accepted it.

i did it online. i can't remember what i put, but i know it was successful.

a note: USCIS changed the address on my petition and started mailing stuff to my new address. when my case got to NVC, i called them on an unrelated issue and found out that they had entered the case in their system with the old address. when you get to NVC, you need to call and check.

We tried to change our address in the middle of the uscis paperwork. I couldnt' do it online back then so I think I ended up just calling or something. Anyway at the first interview my husband got our original
I864 back and where our old address was written there were sticky notes with our new address.

Student
Permanent Resident
Other.

Should I put other and fill the blank as Without Inspection?

maybe you should just call them. when i did it online, i swear there weren't as many questions.
