just called to see if apt scheduled

So I just called. I figured it wouldn't but since my case was completed so quickly, I figured you never no. Anyway, she said it hasn't been scheduled yet. I asked how long does it usually take and she said it varies. Then I asked when or how often I should call back. She said call back after next week to see if you got an appointment for June.

Amber - I would wait until next thursday or friday. I would say atleast wait 20 days from your completion date. If you call next week and still don't have one - they may tell you not to call back until June - but don't listen to that!!

We tried calling the second and third weeks of April to see if we got an appt (since NVC states they schedule appts during the second week of each month) and had nothing ... and then surprisingly - the last week of the month, on a Tuesday also actually when most updates seem to happen, we had an appt. So its apparent they schedule them at other times of the month as well.

We haven't seen any first appts scheduled yet after June 13th ... so there's a lot of June left to be scheduled ... good luck!

I've been calling NVC everyday to find out when is the 1st appt. It's been 24 days now since the case was completed.

Amber - I think we'll find out our appts around the same time. Hopefully, we'll find something out soon!!!

bakonbit - you should be hearing something soon!!! I would definately try and call this coming Tuesday if I were you ... just because NVC seems up update frequently then ...

It's Tuesday and I couldn't wait to call thinking that I would get lucky today....I called around 1:00pm and still no appt! It's now the 26th day since completion. The guy told me maybe by the end of this week. I'm hoping to still get in the appts for June! Has anyone called and told "no appt yet" and then called later that same day and gotton a "yes"?

Sorry today was not your lucky day bakonbit ... Iwas really hoping it was for you and others waiting!!

I am not sure if anyone has called multiple times a day and gotten different responses ... I would think they only update once a day though, or once every couple of days. I may be wrong.

Here is what is crazy though ... when we got ours scheduled - there was several other members waiting for their appts as well ... and it seems (sadly) that the one who was waiting almost the longest (longing-to-reunite) got her appt scheduled after those who all had earlier completion dates, though within the same week as everyone else. She was well past her '20 days' (closer to 30 or so) and we were only at 23 days ... and we both found out on the same day when our appts were for.

I guess the moral of my story here is that once the appts start coming - they come in a rush and are all scheduled around the same week it seems regardless of how long you've been with a completion ... don't give up yet ... we still have not seen other June appts scheduled yet - so they HAVE TO BE coming soon!!!!!

Thanks Luckysprite for the encouragement! :D My hubby is calling now to see if there has been any changes in just 1 day! Our plan is to call once a day until we find out. I'm praying that we will know by Friday....that would be AMAZING! :) I'll keep everyone posted on what goes down!

of course there can be changes in just one day! it can happen anytime. i know a lot of people say that their cases are only updated on tuesdays, but djones and now i have both had updates in wednesdays.

jsierra1982 -That's great to know! It's like I invision CDJ sending a huge email file with a list of the appts scheduled and then they just click a button and it appears at NVC. I'm driving myself crazy at this point....I keep calling and get "no" everytime. It's all I think about sometimes.......
