I'm going to AILA!!!

I've been trying for several weeks to confirm that I am eligible for and can actually go to this summer's American Immigration Lawyers Association Annual Conference in Vancouver.
I just checked my credit card statement and they finally charged me! :yay2: The problem was that I can't "prove" my full-time student status for their purposes to become a member, but UW is writing me a letter so I can get in as a non-member student. Whatever, the difference is only them charging me another $100!

Time to meet Laurel, Lynette, Annie (?), etc. And time to soak up as much immigration law as I possibly can in four days, before I head to law school to absorb contracts, torts and other topics mostly irrelevant to my eventual career. Also time to visit Canada for the first time!

Have I mentioned how excited I am??!! :yay:

Have a Great Time in Vancouver.....I lived there for 6 years and it's absolutely wonderful. Check into Stepho's greek tavern and VJ's East Indian restaurant for some of the BEST Food I've EVER TASTED!!
