Hi everyone! Some of you know about our case, some dont.
Sorry I dont post too much but Im always reading, and trust me you guys have help me a lot. As some of you know my boyfriend has been in Macedonia on VD for a month now, we should be getting marry soon. His criminal case should be dismiss soon.
I know how hard a criminal arrest record is for him to come back. But my question is, how important it is(the extreme hardship to me as the US citizen) when they look at the waiver and letter? Cause I am a type 1 diabetic (19yrs) I have diabetic retinopathy (my eyes are bleeding) I already had 3 lazer surgery and still need more, I might go blind, I have kidney problems, neuropathy and more I am a real mess and Im only 37, any ways I need him here. I have three kids from previous marriage,( 6,12,18) their father wont allow me to take them out of the country, my son has a speech problem since age 3, now he is being evaluated for ADHD he was abandoned by his father since age 3 and the only one that has been a father to him is my boyfriend. All of my family is in PR I dont have anyone here, he was all, we are a beutifull family and we need him, I work on and of cause of my health problems.
We feel that we dont have a lot of hope, everytime I have talk to lawyers they only look at the criminal charges and some had told me to wait for the criminal case to be done then we go from there, but I just want your opinion about the extreme hardship. And knowing he is innocent, how do we write a letter mantaining his innocence and at the same time explaining what happened.
Do you think they really care about my extreme hardship or this is really nothing?? What do you think? I just want to know what others think, Thank You! love:shy:

I'm sorry I can't help you with the HSL subject question because that's my weakness - but your medical problem sounds like an unusual extreme hardship.

Honey, my heart is breaking reading your medical hardships. This is the first time I read your additional trials in life. What happened to your fiance is extremely challenging enough. Please be strong and please have faith in God!

I have no words... I'm crying now... I'm ssorry!:bluesad:

Those are good, strong hardships. You will need them have a shot at overcoming the criminal issues. A good portion of your hardship packet should focus on your soon to be hubby's rehabilitation since the arrests.

Is your boyfriend in a rehabalitation center now? He should be. Most of the cases with criminal record have to show rehabilitation in the waiver, this is very important!
Your medical part is extremely important and that fact that you have kids with a previous marriage is huge.

I admire your strength, dont give up! God exists!

Why should he be in a rehab center? He is innocent and we are waiting for the case to be dismiss, anyways when you plea innocent you have to maintain your inocence even saying sorry for something you did not do will make you guilty so we feel a little confuse about this but we will know what to do when the crim. case is done. Cause hopefully it will be dismiss cause he was offer a lower charge but we still believe that if you are innocent why plea guilty to something you did not do.
Maybe I dont understand the rehab thing can you guys explain better, thanks

I remember your case. Remember that your HSL shows HOW he helps you in the states as well, ie takes u to the doctor etc. Mexico seems lax on hsl (at times) for us in other countries have to make sure we're extra careful.

Hi Season,
You are right, if he is innocent, he has to maintain his innocence always. He should not apologize or do rehab or anything. I read that on Laurel's chat last week!
Laurel said that apologizing and maintaining innocence are contradictory.
I think as long as it's dismissed and then you document the dismissal really well, that should be good, right?
