Approved in honduras

Hello everyone,

I was just writing to say that my husband has been approved for his visa. He has to go on monday to the embassy. The people at the embassy called him on Tuesday to tell him the good news. The only person that i can really thank is god. We were going through this for about ten months and i really had to conversate to god everyday because of the difficult circumstances we were in. I would like to that everybody else for their prayers and support because without prayers and support it is difficult. I wish luck to everyone and i say don't give up. I felt like I was about to give up but today god answered my prayers. Through god all things are possible. Don't give up hope. If there are any questions that you would like to ask me i'm willing to help if i can. (I know we recieved the news but by Monday we should know for sure once he has his visa so hopefully everything will go okay).

Congrats! That must be so exciting!

I was wondering when you handed in your waiver? Was that 10 months ago? I will be sending a client to Honduras soon(ish) and wanted to see how long I could tell them to expect to be there for. Thanks so much!

Well my husband had the appt. july 12 2007. He was supposed to have had the ten year ban because he had overstayed his visa for almost seven years. I was really worried because his case took more than eight months. It was a surprise to hear the news today.

YAY!!!!! ANOTHER APPROVAL!! That is AMAZING news! Congratulations-- and I completely agree... 100% of the credit should be given to God. Bless you for staying so faithful... I am so happy for you and your family!!

Would you mind posting your hardship letter for us? Just ask the mods about it if you are interested. We would be THRILLED to have another example of an approved hardship letter through Honduras.

Great news natsat!!! That's 3 for 3 approvals that I know of on this site. Please, if you feel comfortable, could you post your approved HSL for others adjusting in Honduras to read??

Overall, it took about 10 months (you submitted July 7th and by May 7th you had your approval)?? This gives the rest of us hope for speedy approvals!!

Thanks everyone. I want to show my hardship letter but first i want to make sure my husband has his visa in his hands. Sometimes you know there are mistakes. I hope this one is not a mistake. By monday i will know for sure. Once we recieve his visa i will need help to post my hardship letter. I don't have a scanner so i'll probably have to retype it on here. Thanks again everyone.

Hello everyone,


Well I was wanting to say thanks again to everyone. I'm also writing to say that we arrived on the 24th of May. We thought it would be a difficult process entering through the airport but it wasn't. It took us only about thirty minutes to get through and the homeland security guy was very nice. All he asked was how was my husband entering and that's it.
On the 30th of May we went and applied for a Social Security card which i didn't know we could get one that soon. All they asked for was a birth certificate and his passport and they said it would take two weeks for him to receive his card. Now the challenging part is finding him a job but i know that by having faith in god he will find a job. Well that's all for now. If you have any questions you can ask. Thanks.
