Just curious how all of you have learned to adjust to "Mexican time" what I mean is...do you ever tell your friends/family from Mexico to be ready to go at a certain time only to find out when you arrive is when they begin to prepare? They take an abnormally long time preparing...yes even the guys. And they think the have time to do larger tasks even though the clock is ticking (such as preparing lunch). Hmmm, I doubt this is just my observations. I just figure I will have to trick them in some way like mentioning the appointment is an hour ahead of the real time (but soon they will catch on).

Yes, it is the hardest thing to do. My husband stays on time but everyone around us can't seem to do it. At my college graduation a bunch of our friends just about missed it and some showed up for the party because they were running so late to graduation. ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!! :D
I especially had a hard time in Mexico because we would go to get something we needed and you never knew when the little stores would open. One day it would be at 8am and the next 11:30am. It was so frustrating especially coming from here and when something opens at 8 IT OPENS AT 8!!!! LOL
