I was born in this city. My family relocated when I was 2. I'd love to go for a visit someday. Never been anywhere near the snow (that I can remember).

It's actually in Downers Grove, a suburb of Chicago. We moved here last summer from Texas. We were very happy to see the warm weather and green return. I tell you, it gets much much colder here than in Texas.

These are beautiful pictures. I miss Chicago so much! I can't wait to be back home! I love the one with the clouds...I really miss a good thunderstorm. Here in Jordan it is the same old weather everyday-HOT(Currrently in the 90's), sunny and clear skies. I know this sounds great, but growing up in Chicago you tend to get used to the daily changing weather! Beautiful photos!

I'm using a Sony DSLR and it's just a hobby for me. It's a great way of being creative.

ok, DSLR is it better than a regular SLR, I've been looking for a nice camera to take nice night pics, and I was told a SLR would do it, any advice?

A DSLR is short for Digital Single Lense Reflex. It's basically the digital version of the older 35mm SLR cameras. Don't get too hung up on equipment. I have seen very impressive photos taken with regular point and shoot digital cameras. Here's a few I took with my old point and shoot..
