we wont be going back till like August cause of all the paperwork we have to file here to get his government to release him or whatever they call it anyways it takes time. No more -25 winter. Its funny my husband is already packing throwing away stuff we wont take back cleaning everything out.

well we made arguments in the appeal for instance they said that there was no way that my husband only made 300 bucks a month working for Porsche so I enclosed proof of income. Then they said that I wasnt depressed enough about my brother back in America (only living relative) so I sent them letters from several people saying how much I am worried about my brother. Then they said I could make it on my own with my son alone in america so I sent them documents of a child being raised alone without a father. I had it expedited because my brother has gotton into big trouble since I filed the appeal and he needs me there more than anything. And yes Laurel did file the waiver.. I will tell you this I did write a letter that basically pleaded with them about my husband, they may have had something to do with it also.

Anyhoot Moscow is a very tough embassy and they hardly approve anyone. There has been one other person before me a long time ago. I got denied in 2 months after filing I appealed and got it expedited because of an unfortunate event that occured that was involving my brother and the main reason I needed to get back to the states and it was approved. Im just happy that someone in DC has a heart.

thanks girl yeah we were approved on the 30th of April however our embassy in Armenia hasnt gotton the paperwork yet. :( But yeah we are approved!

Wow Manda, that's awful. We have never been notified that the waiver was approved (May 22 approx):scratch:, but we have the visa now:D. Thank god for Sydney. I hope you get your paperwork very soon!

Thanks you guys for the support! Its crazy getting out of here they need so much stuff from us to get Aram released from his country soon though hopefully no more than another month.


Lulu well ill be damned you signed online. We are doing great and Arams parents are happy for us but sad that they are not going to be just across the hall anymore!!! They want to visit next Christmas however I doubt the embassy will approve that VISA. As for 3 years and getting them to America. I highly doubt they will want to come and move there they are toooo set in their Armenian traditions and ways but who knows. They are elderly will be 75 by then. But who knows.


How are you doing????? We are excited about going back but also scared cause we have to start completely over!!
