Hi you all, im new here. im very excited to be here too. Well I have a question. How long is taking from the moment you send the I-130 to they give you your appointment in Juarez, Mexico? I just dont know what to expect right now.. We just sent the I-130 this month, and i wanted to know how long we have approx. until my dh needs lo leave to MX. thanks a lot everyone~!! :bounce:

i wouldn't go that far. i'd say more like 12-14...obviously each case is different and there is someone who filed (k3) in nov. and will probably have her appt in june...so it all depends. i filed my i-130 last august and i am hoping to have an appointment this sept or oct as long as everything else goes smoothly.

OH and be advised--filing K3 will (possibly) speed things up if you are at CSC but NOT if you are at VSC! they are cancelling i-129fs filed in conjunction with i-130s and i actually have a letter to prove that grrr...

I sent in the I-130 last year at the end of July and I should be getting my appointment soon. I would say it will be very close to 1 year for us. However, things have been screwy with the whole processes. The average process times that I was looking at last year do not reflect what I have actually waited. It took longer for us to get our I-130 approval than the average at the time. However on the other hand the interview are being scheduled a lot quicker now than they did a year ago.
