okay guys i have a question can i submti as evidence my illegal mother she suffer of high blood pressure, and also has diabetes . And she will suffer if i were to relocate to mexico. I always thought that anybody mentioned on your hsl letter had to be a u.s citizen. Yeah because when we had our waiver appointment i did not even mentioned my mother condition if i was going to relocate to mexico. She also has alot of medical bills debt. Can i use my mother as a hardship??????

That's sort of tricky. Frankly I don't think they are going to confirm the status of anyone mentioned in the HSL but I certainly wouldn't mention she is undocumented either...

I agree with Laura. I highly doubt that they would check the legal status of anyone mentioned in your hsl. I would use it and never mention anything about her status.

mmmmm
I personally wouldn't mention that too risky and they donnot care about I anyone who is ilegal. If you are going to mention that say that the USC pays her bills and stuff like that, BUT Usually I think you would have to send a birthcertificate about the US citizens as proof that they are.
