First I want to say how helpful this website is and how much information you can get. I have noticed a lot of people have recieved their interview appts for June. My question is does nvc schedule family preference visa differently from CR-1 and IR-1???????? my case was complete on the 4th of April and still no interview????

Have you been calling NVC to check on your appointment? Most of these people found out by calling, I don't think theyve received there letters yet. I did read somewhere they have a certain system for scheduling. You could ask NVC that question as well.

That is correct. None of the people with June interviews yet (I don't think) have received letters. They have called NVC (or the Consulate?) to find out they have appointments.

You should call right away. There is a good chance you have your appointment and you will want to make your waiver appointment right away.

Thank you for replying, I did call NVC and still no appointment I am thinking being in family preference has to do with something uggh......

another member, cronaldo, got his appt the same timemost of us did. he is the son of a usc....most of us call and speak with an operator to find out. is that what you have done?

yes I actually called yesterday and they gave me the old run around call back after the 17th there isn't an appt set yet ...ugh those words are killers lol

Guess there is no ryhme or reason to their scheduling.... as we are all seeing. So sorry Houston08
