Can someone tell me which hotel is closer (walking distance) to the consulate...I want to be in a safe hotel....i'm nervous about being alone when my husband is at the medical and interview...

we hav made reservations for hotel la playa it is right across the street from the consulate not the nicest hotel but it is pretty cheap. i will be arriving incdj on the 7th of june. we should hang out

You 100% do not need to be worried inside your hotel or walking aroun during the day in any hotel in the area. Los Cedros is around the corner (maybe 5 minutes), same with Holiday Inn Express, La Playa is across the street >1 minutes, Hotel Consulado (which is crazy ghetto) is 2 minutes away and nasty but still safe and air conditioned.

Seriously, there are alot of things to worry about. Safety while waiting inside your hotel room in the Pronaf shouldn't be one of them. That whole area is really very safe.

If you want a close one hotel la playa is the one for you its like right across the street! Hope this helps!
