So I may be a girly girl now, but back in the day I was a total tomboy. I still have a tomboy side. I have been planning on buying a motorcycle and I think I have settled on this one. What you guys think? I have to buy a small one because I tried to buy a Kawasaki one and I could't reach the handle bars :( but I like this one and I went to the shop and he padded the seat some and lowered the whole body so my short but can reach the ground.
Anyways here it is the Suzuki SV1000S ABS....I may go for the SV650S, but we will see how fast I like to go :)

Not a fan of motorcycles. Besides with all the rain in Seattle...
Good luck!

LOL - Not many people are fans, but I have always loved riding one. I have NEVER driven one. I go for my course in October. Also Seattle people are not bothered by the rain. If you are born and raised here chances are you don't even own an umbrella.

Okay Angela, I love motorcycles. But, then there is the ICU nurse in me who sees so many people come in from accidents and transferred from other facilities. Honestly, the injuries are normally very bad and it takes so long for these people to rehabilitate.
If you do then enjoy and please be so careful.
I'm done playing mommy now. Forgive me. :bounce:

LOL you are funny, but I understand what you are saying. That is why I am considering buying the 650 and not the 1000. The 650 is slower and I will not drive on the main freeway. My husband has already given the biggest lecture on it too. He is funny. He said that he can drive it anywhere, but I can only go around the block. So I told him I would paint it pink and then see who gets to drive it everywhere. I will be careful. I am not even sure if I am really going to buy it. I am going to take the course first to see if driving is ok. I am fine with riding, but I am not sure how I will kike drivin.

I kind of always wanted one, too. My husband wants one, and I would be a walking panic attack if he drove one. His father died on one and so have several of his friends in Brazil. Its the most popular mode of transportation in their city there. My best friend's husband insisted on buying one and she immediately took out a half million dollar life insurance policy on him.

Can you stand just a bit more mommy or maybe grandmommy....:D
Not that this matters but I grew up with motorcycles. My parents had a dealership. My brother and I made a television commercial on our motorcycles (back in the day).
My brother was in the hospital for 6 weeks with injuries, still has a steel rod in his leg from his hip to his knee from his accident, where he hit a pebble in the road.
My husband totaled his brand new motorcycle the first day he got it (hit a telephone pole when it wasn't looking. But then he got another one! Jeesh...
My father in law hit a hole in the road and fell off of his and broke his neck and died instantaneously with several of the grandkids looking on.
My brother right now has a suzuki dealership but never rides. A young man that his dealership was sponsoring as a motorcross rider was killed while racing.
Our son currently has one and I just shudder. Did I say that I hate motorcycles. Here in California you can jut in and out of traffic if you are on a motorcycle.
Oh yes, one more thing...They are very dangerous.
But I understand if you want one, you want one....take care and enjoy. :)

Never thought of the Life insurance. I guess I will do that.
