Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of filling out the I129F form and G325. I emailed Laurel Scott today to set up my phone consultation. by in the meantime, I thought I'll get started.

Well question 18 on I129F describe how you met.
How long of a description. Couple paragraphs or one paragraph. Also, what documents can I use to prove our relationship. Pictures yes I have lots of them, but how many pictures i enough. Can I use my and my fiances phone bills (originals or copies). I don't really keep receipts, but I could dig up my my credit card bill to show that a hotel reservation in Wisconsin Dells where we spend our vacation last year. Are those things good.

And how much is enough. I don't want to overwhelm those people in immigration.

Thanks in advance

Hi Magpie,
My answer for question 18 was one paragraph. In addition to photos (I had about five, a few with the two of us and a couple with family), I also included boarding passes, copies of phone bills and receipts. Good Luck!

Hi Magpie, I too gave about a paragraph. I submitted just photos, about 5 or 6 that had the dates stamped on the back of us together, vacation, holidays.

Thanks aquafria and mayita.

I don't have any boarding passes because my fiance is here. But I asked my fiance to find the receipt of the engagement ring, so I can include that too.

When I completed my I 129F I did not send in any pictures. However we have been married for 4 years, we kept waiting for the law to change. Be carefull sending pictures, they can end of anywhere.

most of us have sent pictures as they are 100% proof that you have indeed met. i printed mine out 9 to a page using a color printer. they are a valuable proof of relationship, especially if they show you together at different times of year, different hairstyles and appearances over time, with family members and friends, etc.
