ok here we go :)

i left from my house around 5:30 am and missed the exit on the freeway my daddy drove me and he forgot where the office was we were lost lol then we were almost there. prob about 6 blocks away we stoped at a light and the car shut off and wouldnt start ( just freakin great ) luckily it was just the battery was loose . daddy fixed it.we arrived to the immigration offices in sanbernardino CA around 7:00 am i went through security and headed to the second floor there i turned in my interview letter at the window and took a seat they called me in around 7:45 my appointment was at 7:30. the officer swore me inn to tell the truth then he looked throwgh my application and asked questions if the info was correct (and it was ) then he took a paper and asked me about 10 questions like : whats the presidents home called? how many stars on the flag? the ship that brought the pilgrims? whos the president today ? and others that i cant remember now then he asked more questions and asked to see my marriage certificate and took a copy he asked to see my green card and that was it he gave me a paper where it said the places of the oath ceremony but he said i need to wait for a ceperate notice in the mail 2 go 2 the oath ceremony.left around 8:05 we headed home later i received a call from mom she said immigration officer called home and i needed to go back and talk 2 him so we went back 2 the office there he said i needed a stamp on a paper i had turned in w my application of a ticket ihad gotten in 2004 i went to the court house down the street and they said they couldnt give me the stamp there i had to go all the way back home (big bear lake courthouse) which is like and hour and 20 min drive up a mountain. anyway so i came home whent 2 the court house and got the stupid stamp and i will be mailing it back 2 day so that we can go on w the oath ceremony thing :( but on the bright side i past the test and everything is good now just gotta wait for the appointment for the oath ceremony so yeah crazy day oh and i almost forgot at the first court house i went 2 we accidnetly parked on a permitt only space for like 15 minutes when we came back had a ticket on the window $13.50 lol and it wasnt even worth it cuz we couldnt get the stupid stamp ha ha ha crazy day for me but glad to be over with the interview so overall that happened im pretty happy ................................... the end :bounce:

You went to Apple Bees without inviting me? Ayay! j/k

Your story reminded me of my crazy story during my naturalization interview. I was lost too I could not find the building. Being a 'mountain' girl that I am, when I flew to my interview at the neighbor island I considered a 'city', I was going around in circles until I finally found the place of my interview - crying and so upset- I was so scared I couldn't make it on time. LOL
So, my name got called, and as I faced the adjudicator, I barely understood him. He had a very strong Chinese accent... and he barely understood me. I had a laryngitis, I could not talk clearly - plus I had a very bad cold. We were exchanging the phrase "What? What did you say?" My interview was so short too. I thought it was maybe because he thought I was contagious... LOL

That was crazy.
