addresses on i-130- HELP!

ok, did anyone ever have to prove the dates that they lived at a particular address? we just spent over an hour trying to remember the exact dates my husband lived at certain addresses and he CAN'T! so we put his best guess, but he's afraid they're going to investigate the addresses and dates on the form and find out that they're not exactly correct. i said they wouldn't, but he didn't believe me and told me to ask you guys!

We went to the places where my hubby lived and asked for a copy of the lease agreements. Otherwise I believe you can put your best guess, but don't leave any month blank or they may send you an RFE.

heck...there are literally 6 or 7 places, if not more, that he lived in 4 years, and he didn't write down any of it- and none of the leases were in his name. we're now in our third hour or so of going over this and have picked his brother's and cousin's brains too...i guess a best guess is going to have to be good enough.

does anyone know if they have a way of checking?

I believe most everyone uses their best guesses. I dont really know how they could verify it if the EWI had nothing in their name. I don't think it matters that much. Like Angela said, just cover all time periods and write it down so you keep it all the same on all paperwork.
